Let me tell you, I am getting so excited for Dana's upcoming wedding! I first met Dana during another clients wedding and have really enjoyed working with her. Dana came out with her mom and maid of honor (and her dog) to Regent University for her Bridal Portraits. I always love shooting at Regent, and I do it a LOT!
Dana gave me permission to post her bridals as we don't think the husband to be has any idea how to access the blog ;-)
Dana, your dress is amazing and worth all the hassle you went through for it! I had a blast shooting with you and can't wait to show you the rest of your pictures! I think I may have to post even more later... Here's a preview!

Tony and Suzanne
What can I say, this weekend I was very privileged to be able to capture the wedding of Tony and Suzanne. Missy Christensen, who is their wedding planner, was kind enough to help us find eachother. The wedding was beautifully held at Grand Affairs in Virginia Beach and afterwards we headed to the Chesapeake Bay to take pictures. The day was full of excitement, although I believe a highlight was watching Suzanne's mom get down on the dance floor in the middle of a dance circle! That is one family who loves to dance and have a good time! And it shows, there is a lot of love and happiness that I witnessed yesterday. Congratulations Tony and Suzanne. May your marriage be blessed!
Here's a sneak.
The Father / Daughter Dance was an especially beautiful moment... Here we have Mom watching while dad and daughter share a moment.

Becky's "trash the dress"
A new trend in Wedding Photography is to "trash your dress." The dress isn't actually trashed, but before trying to spend $$$ to stick it in a box and put it in storage, brides are using their photographer to capture the dress again... without worrying if some dirt get's on it... this is after the wedding of course.
I wanted to get some examples for my brides to see so my sorority sister Becky (who is getting married in Dec!) was gracious enough to be my model. I found the dress on Craigslist.com. Here's the result of a fun shoot with a great friend!
