I just found myself in a clip from the Ukrops Christmas Parade in Richmond. At about 1:16 into it... do you see a girl in jeans and a white jacket with a rather large "black thing" in front of her face.... That's me!
There's my 5 seconds of fame! You can find the Original Post and view pictures target="_blank">HERE!
Also, do you ever travel or stay in a hotel... this is a must see if you answered yes to either of those questions.

Ukrops Christmas Parade - Richmond, VA
What a busy weekend! Friday night I left with my boyfriend and his friend, Lance to travel to Richmond for the Annual Christmas Parade. We stayed the night with our friend Becca and had a full cold day on Saturday to prepare for!
Saturday, the day of the parade, I was taking pictures for 2 local Star Wars costuming groups. The 501st and The Rebel Legion invited me to document their participation in the parade which draws more than 250,000 spectators and even more on the TV. What can I say, it was a blast spending the day with Storm Troopers, Jedi, and even Darth Vader.
After the parade my boyfriend and I rushed back to the Beach to get ready for the annual Regent Christmas Ball and then I had a family shoot on Sunday as well as a shoot today! So expect more photos in the coming days!
For your enjoyment, the Star Wars Universe via the Ukrops Christmas Parade!

DC with Anne Ruthmann
This weekend, I was so privileged to make the trek from Virginia Beach to DC to help Anne Ruthmann shoot a wedding for a truly amazing couple. Anne isn't just any photographer, she's actually based in Terre Haute, Indiana and is flown all over the US to photograph weddings. And if that's not enough, she's also an internationally award winning photographer... a few times over... Needless to say, I was blessed to be invited to work with her! We also had such a blast hanging out! I am a little bummed however, we never did get to jump on the beds...
The wedding itself was wonderful. The brides father was a career Marine and as he is no longer here, the wedding started with a tribute to her father at the Marine Corps Memorial, Iwo Jima. They met and saw each other for the first time at the monument and then laid a matching lily of her bouquet along with her family. After the laying of the flowers, they made their way towards the Carillon bell tower and had a small intimate ceremony with family next to a large oak tree, over looking the DC skyline. Fall finally made it's appearance just in time for the wedding, and we also had amazing color!
After the ceremony, they headed to the "Hotel Tabbard Inn" for a family brunch. After a short break, we then headed to the "Clarendon Ballroom" for the black tie optional reception with all of their friends and family. The day was full of so many fun people and details so, I am going to post quite a few pictures... but, I don't think you'll mind.

Lauren's Wedding
Hope you're ready for a LONG post!
I had such a blast shooting this wedding held at the Portsmouth Womens Club! What a fun celebration between close friends and family. The wedding was also full of so many amazing details! And the groomsmen! I think you'll see what fun the groomsmen were below. It truly was a fun celebration and I wish you both happiness in your lives together. Of course, when you start your marriage with a honeymoon to Disneyworld I'm sure that will be easy to achieve!
On to some photos!
